Applying for VA Benefits:*

 

  1. Submit a copy of your DD-214 (Member-4) to your FHE Student Finance Planner
  2. Choose the VA benefit you would like to receive (choose from Chapter 30, 33, and in some cases, Chapter 1607)
  3. Apply for VA benefits online via VONAPP (use VA Form 22-1990)
  4. Submit a copy of your completed VA Form 22-1990 application to your FHE Student Finance Planner
  5. Submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (received 4-6 weeks after VONAPP approval) to your FHE Student Finance Planner)

 

Documents Needed:

 

  • Copy of DD-214(Member-4)
  • Copy of completed VA Form 22-1990
  • Copy of your Certificate of Eligibility
